Professional and Certificate Programs:
Professional Education programs, sometimes known as certificate or extension programs in the US and professional diploma programs in Canada, are very popular among working professionals and recent graduates. Often international students choose professional education over graduate degree programs, because of the narrow professional focus and hands on experience, which drastically increases their employment chances at home. While very selective, professional programs do not require GRE or GMAT test scores at the time of application, and unlike most graduate degree programs include internships and on the job training as part of the curriculum.
